Steadfast is the first in the 2024 Nimbus series. The nimbus has been part of my art for over two decades. Corona, halo, radiance, aura - this ancient symbol represents the Divine present among us.

This series is an evolution from using the nimbus forms within a painting to the nimbus becoming the painting. Welcoming the viewer to take a deeper look. Several of my previous paintings have referenced Psalm 91:4. This Psalm speaks of refuge, safety and God’s promise of deliverance from danger.
